Up and Running in Five Steps

Getting started with Steward Pro Office is straightforward. No account creation, no cloud setup, no complex configuration. Just buy, download, install, activate, and start working. Here is exactly how to do it.

Step 1: Purchase Your Apps

Head to mystewardpro.com and choose what fits your needs:

Individual apps — Pick just the tools you need. Notes ($49), ProWrite ($69), Gridworks ($69), ProSlides ($59), or ProPDF ($59).
Full Suite — All five apps for $249, saving you $57 compared to buying each one separately.
Student pricing — Verify your student status and get 50% off any app or the full suite.
Volume licenses — Family (5 seats, $349), Business (10 seats, $899), or Non-Profit (25 seats, $1,799).

Checkout is handled securely through Stripe. Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a license key in your email. It looks like this:

Keep this key safe — you will need it to activate your apps.

Step 2: Download for Your Platform

After purchase, you will be directed to the download page. You can also access it anytime at mystewardpro.com/download. Downloads are available for:

Windows (x64) — ZIP archive
macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon) — DMG installer
Linux (x64) — AppImage

Each app is a separate download. If you purchased the full suite, download all five.

Step 3: Install

Installation differs slightly by platform:

Windows

Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder of your choice (e.g., C:\Program Files\Steward Pro\)
Open the extracted folder and double-click the application executable
Windows may show a SmartScreen warning for new applications — click "More info" then "Run anyway"
That is it. No traditional installer needed. You can pin the app to your taskbar for quick access.

macOS

Open the downloaded DMG file
Drag the application icon to your Applications folder
On first launch, macOS may warn about an unidentified developer — go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy and click "Open Anyway"
The app is now installed and available in your Applications folder and Launchpad

Linux

Download the AppImage file

Make it executable:

chmod +x "Steward ProWrite-1.0.0.AppImage"

Run it:

Optional: Move it to /usr/local/bin/ or add it to your desktop environment's application menu for easy access

No dependencies to install. No package managers needed. AppImages are self-contained.

Step 4: Activate with Your License Key

When you first open any Steward Pro app, you will see an activation screen. Enter the license key from your confirmation email:

A few things to know about your license:

One key activates all your purchased apps. If you bought the full suite, the same key works for Notes, ProWrite, Gridworks, ProSlides, and ProPDF.
Activation requires an internet connection — but only the first time. After that, the app works completely offline.
Your key is tied to your purchase, not a specific device. If you get a new computer, just enter your key again.

Step 5: Start Creating

You are in. Here is a quick overview of what each app does:

Steward Notes — Create notebooks to organize your thoughts. Use rich text formatting, pin important notes, star favorites, and search across everything.
Steward ProWrite — Write professional documents with full formatting controls. Export to DOCX for Word compatibility or PDF for sharing. Page layout matches standard letter size.
Steward Gridworks — Build spreadsheets with over 100 built-in formulas. Import existing XLSX files from Excel or export your work back to XLSX format.
Steward ProSlides — Design presentations with 8 built-in themes. Add text, images, and shapes with drag-and-drop. Export to PPTX for PowerPoint compatibility.
Steward ProPDF — Create professional business documents. Choose from invoice, proposal, and contract templates, customize them, and export polished PDFs.

Bonus Tip: Change Your Language

Steward Pro Office supports 10 languages out of the box: English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, French, Arabic, German, Japanese, and Russian.

To switch languages:

Open any Steward Pro app
Click File in the menu bar
Select Language
Choose your preferred language
